Product Owner

Description

We are on the lookout for a creative Product Owner who thrives in solving complex business problems to join our Product Team!  The successful applicant will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment and be involved in all aspects of Angus AnyWhere and Ola product platforms (desktop, web and mobile) from design, development, delivery to providing ongoing support, ensuring their continuous advancement and success.

What you’ll get to do:
  • You will constantly be learning and maintaining a deep understanding of Angus Systems’ business and products.
  • You will become an expert within your product domain(s),take charge and active ownership  to enhance and implement new product features!
  • You will create and refine user stories to reflect latest design iterations.
  • You will design solutions for complex business problems and user workflows.
  • You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers and fellow designers to design products and refine UI/UX designs.
  • You will collaborate with key stakeholders and technical team to determine optimal implementation decisions.
  • You will create wireframes, mockups, sketches, prototypes and user-flow diagrams to validate and support user stories.
  • You will take active ownership of assigned projects to ensure all acceptance criteria defined within the sprint are implemented successfully.
  • You will contribute to define scope of upcoming product releases.
  • You will act as primary point of contact and respond to product support inquiries.
Who you are:
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role and solving complex business problems in a highly agile environment.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in product design with a strong end-user mindset and can design solutions with focus in optimizing UX and interaction.
  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience working in a software company with SaaS applications.  
  • Previous experience working with work order and/or maintenance management software is a bonus!
  • You are proficient in visual and interaction design with multi-layered workflows and multi-platform systems (desktop, web and mobile applications).
  • You worked with collaboration and diagramming tools like Lucidchart, Miro, Visio and/or Axure.  Experiences with other design applications is a bonus!
  • You can write and communicate user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
  • You thrive in a highly iterative process that involves listening and constantly collaborating.
  • You can lead end-to-end design discussions independently with cross-functional teams
  • You can adapt and self-manage to navigate through constant changing of business needs and requirements.
  • You think conceptually and creatively to generate new ideas, concepts and solution.
  • You are a motivated self starter and can confidently step up to lead during uncertainty.
  • You are confident in speaking and presenting to clients at management and executive levels.
  • You have a strong aptitude of giving and receiving feedback.
  • You are curious about new and existing product features and are always ready to learn more!
